想い出深い特別な一曲です。

10代の頃受けた
歌とお芝居のオーディション時に選んだ曲。

葛藤や憧れ、上手く言葉に出来ない心を
素直に代弁してくれたかのようなこの曲に
救われたのを覚えています。

当時漠然と思い描いていた未来が
数十年後にこうして形となり
幼い葉子から今の美月葉子への成長への架け橋となる一曲に。

当時から今井美樹さんの芳醇でしなやかな声が
好きで、
いつしか彼女のようにストレートで伸びやかに歌えたらいいなぁ…と
今も昔も変わらぬ憧れのお一人です。

また一つ歳を重ねた今日という
特別な日に
皆様にお聴きいただけること
とても幸せです。感無量……！

This song has been one of my most favorites since I was a teenager.
I chose this when I auditioned for singing and acting. The lyrics spoke to me instead, and helped me in describing in about whatever I had somewhat difficulties with express myself then.
I had vaguely envisioned at the time about the future, which decades later has turned to make it happen just like a bridge from the young Yoko to the present Yoko Mizuki’s growth.
I have loved Miki Imai’s mellow and supple voice since that time. So I wished I could have sung as straight and elongated as she did then.

Today is a special day for me, as I have aged one more year. So I am so happy to bring you my new song with the beautiful performance of JaXon’s piano based on the great cooperations.
