言葉と音の結び付きは、時に人の心を動かすものなんだなぁ…と幼いながらに感化されたものです。

あの頃の懐かしい想いを重ねながら
ウクレレ奏者とともに
心を込めて歌ってみました。

初めてのカバーソングですが、
世代を越えても親しまれるのは
カバー曲の醍醐味かもしれないですね。

歌詞途中に登場する「ママの靴で…」では、
どこか母の温かみを感じさせるところも
この曲の魅力かな、と捉えてます。

This is the theme song for the film “Swallowtail”, released in 1996.

In the film, Chinese and English languages mixed with Japanese language by immigrants living in a fictitious city are flying around and inspired to another world.

I watched the film and I was impressed that the combination of words and sounds sometimes moves people’s emotions.

I am singing with a ukulele player based on the nostalgic emotions from my heart.

This is my first cover song.

I think the lyrics saying “Mama’s Shoes…” in the middle of this song expresses the warmth of a mother’s heart, which I think is very charming.

It is one of my favorite songs.
I hope you will enjoy listening to my voice from all of my heart.
