神奈川県葉山町在住、大分県出身。2023年に初のミニアルバム『The First Moon Light』でデビュー、2024年にはフルアルバムデビューとなる『The Full Moon Light』をリリース。右耳の伝導性難聴という個性を抱えながら、民謡を唄う祖母の影響で5歳からピアノに親しみ、音を奏でる喜びを知る。10代でプロダクションに所属し一度は表現の道を志すも、父の逝去を機に英語教師の道へ。ハワイ大学語学学校を経て、米国カンザス大学大学院にて修士号を取得。帰国後、教職に就く中でバンド活動と出会い、再び音楽の光に照らされる。「教育と音楽」の間で葛藤しながらも、ジャズ音楽学院やクワイヤでの研鑽を経て、作詞および本格的なソロ活動を開始した。祖母の老人ホーム慰問に影響を受け、自身も地域の保育園や教会での演奏活動を重ねるなど、一貫して「目に見えない温かな価値」を音に託し続けている。現在は、小学校の英語教師として200名の児童と言語や音楽を通じて心を通わせる傍ら、ソロシンガーとして活動。近年はラジオ出演や映像制作にも注力している。 二つの世界を行き来しながら、愛と慈しみに満ちた、心に響く言葉と癒しの音色を届けている。

Based in the coastal town of Hayama, Kanagawa, and originally from Oita, Yoko Mizuki is a singer and educator whose life beautifully balances words and melody. She debuted with her first mini-album, The First Moon Light, in 2023, and released her full-length debut, The Full Moon Light, in 2024. Guided by her grandmother, a traditional folk singer, Yoko began playing piano at age five. Despite conductive hearing loss in her right ear, she developed a deep, intuitive connection to music. After pivoting from early performing arts to education following her father’s passing, she earned her Master’s degree from the University of Kansas. Returning to Japan, a fellow teacher’s invitation to front a band reignited her musical path. She honed her craft through choral and jazz studies, eventually diving into songwriting and her solo career. Today, Yoko gracefully navigates two worlds. As an elementary school English teacher, she shares the joy of song with over 200 children, while using her solo music to explore life’s deepest questions of love and purpose. Through her evocative lyrics, soothing melodies, and radio appearances, Yoko delivers a gentle, healing breeze of sound straight to the heart.
